When we start playing the guitar for the first time, we usually do it with a guitar we have at hand. A guitar we had at home or that has come into our hands through a gift or a friend.
First, we start to get interested in a specific musical style and we investigate how to play the songs we like. We apply basic chords or melodies with our hands and with a fingering that allows us to develop the music we are interested in.
That is the best way to start playing the instrument: Loving what we play and feeling pleasure in playing the songs. At that exact moment, we could already say that we are beginner guitarists.
